In GDevelop-Events und in Tutorial-Texten ist "If ... then ..." gleichzeitig Spiellogik und Grammatik. Simple Present reicht komplett aus.
Pattern: If + [condition, simple present], then + [action].
Example: If the player touches the enemy, then the player loses a life.
1. If the player collects a coin, then the score (go up).
2. If Mario touches a Goomba from above, then the Goomba (die).
3. If Mario falls off the platform, then he (lose a life).
4. If the player presses the space bar, then Mario (jump).
5. If the timer reaches zero, then the level (end).
Schreib für jede Situation deinen eigenen If/Then-Satz auf Englisch.
1. Mario findet einen Stern (star, invincible):

Top-Down Movement — Quick Guide
In a top-down game like Zelda, the player can move in four directions: up, down, left, and right. You don't need any code to set this up.
First, add a new Sprite object and name it "Hero". Then open the Behaviors tab and add the "Top-down movement" behavior. This behavior gives your object everything it needs to move with the arrow keys.
Next, set the speed. A normal walking speed is around 100 pixels per second. If you want the Hero to move faster, increase the speed value.
Finally, add a Platform behavior to your walls, so the Hero cannot walk through them. Press play and test the movement. If the Hero moves too fast or too slow, go back and change the speed value.
1. How many directions can the player move in a top-down game?
2. What behavior do you add to make the Hero move?
3. What is a normal walking speed, in pixels per second?
4. Why do the walls need a Platform behavior?
5. What should you do if the Hero moves too fast?
1. Four directions (up, down, left, right).
2. The "Top-down movement" behavior.
3. Around 100 pixels per second.
4. So the Hero cannot walk through them.
5. Go back and change (decrease) the speed value.

1. Write down 3 English words from the video you already know from Day 1–4:
2. Write down 1 word you didn't understand, then look it up:
3. What is the presenter telling you to DO in the first minute? (use an imperative sentence)
Open GDevelop and build one small thing from the video yourself — just one object with one behavior is enough. Then answer:
What did you build? (one English sentence, use simple present or "I added...")
